We can repair almost any type of Omega watch, including Museum Collection, Seamaster, Speedmaster, De Ville, Constellation, Olympic Collection, Tuning Fork, Railmaster and Co-axial Espacments.

Our Omega watch service features several steps as part of the  process. We will perform a test of the watch functions and place the movement of the watch in sealed storage. We will replace the watch seals with an in-stock replacement or by placing an order with a reputable supplier. The watch is carefully dismantled with all parts checked for wear while an ultrasonic cleaning machine is used to clean the watch. We will carefully rebuild the movement and reassemble the watch with regular testing. We will check for water resistance and set the correct time and date. Your watch will be set for another 3-5 years.

All work is carried out by our watchmaker from our specialist Liverpool workshop which has been built to maintain a high level of cleanliness and ventilation.

The History of Omega Watches

When it was founded in 1848, the brand was known as the long-winded Louis Brandt et Frère – Omega Watch & Co. Omega was created and operated by Swiss watchmaker Louis Brandt until his death in 1879 when his sons took over the business. The sons helped to produce the brand’s first minute-repeating timepiece, followed by the groundbreaking Omega Caliber. They died in 1903, handing the reins over to a young group of people in their 20s.

The Royal Flying Corps and the U.S. Army chose Omega as an official timekeeper during the latter stages of World War 1. The brand became the timekeeper for the 1932 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, a partnership that has lasted to this day – they have since served 28 occasions! Omega made history in 1969 when Buzz Aldrin stepped onto the moon while wearing a Speedmaster.

In recent memory, Omega has become a pop culture icon, featuring in blockbusters like Scarface. The company formed a partnership with the James Bond spy action franchise in 1995. Omega Seamasters have since been featured in every Bond film, often with unique features such as explosive capabilities!

Does a Service Include an Omega Watch Polish?

We’re delighted to confirm that yes, our Omega service does indeed include an Omega watch polish! We know how important it is to restore your Omega watch to its former glory which is why we polish and grain the case and bracelet. An Omega watch polish will help return your watch to showroom quality. The watch polishing process is a satisfying job that we love doing as it transforms the Omega watch from looking worn and tired to a stunning piece of work that can be admired. We use specialist equipment and take time to polish Omega watches, ensuring that any dents and scratches are removed, and the watch looks brand new.

How Often Should You Service Your Omega Watch?

Your Omega watch is a luxury item that deserves all the care and attention as any other high-end purchase. If you service your car every year, why not look after your watch in the same way? A regular Omega watch service is highly recommended to ensure your timepiece doesn’t diminish in quality and accuracy. Unlike other luxury items, you don’t have to replace your watch every few years. As long as you look after it, your watch will run for as long as you want!

We advise that you service your Omega watch every 3 to 5 years. A full watch service is a thorough process with many steps, some of which we have outlined above. The service will restore your watch to new before it begins to break down and fails to function. Our Omega watch servicing helps keep your timepiece in excellent condition, preserves its reliability and prevents issues before they arise. Get in touch with us today to find out more about how we can help you.

How Much Does an Omega Service Cost?

The costs to service an Omega depends on various factors, so we are unable to provide an accurate figure here. The price varies based on the watch model, age, movement, and mechanical and cosmetic conditions. You can use the interactive system on our servicing page to receive an instant quote for your model, or contact us to request a more accurate estimation of costs for free.

We offer various Omega servicing packages to suit your requirements. For example, you can book a service, a valet or a combined package for a discounted price. The costs of an Omega service are nothing in comparison to repairing your watch when it eventually breaks. Save money and prevent unnecessary repairs by servicing your Omega every few years.

Examples of Our Omega Servicing

Whether we carry out Omega watch repairs, restoration or servicing, we are delighted to help bring our customer’s watches back to life. We regularly share various images and videos on Instagram to show the recent work that we have completed for customers.

This Instagram video shows the work that we have completed for a classic Omega Seamaster Quartz watch which came to us for a light dial clean due to dust left by a previous service or battery and seal. The watch received the full Perpetual Time treatment on the entire case and bracelet and looks amazing afterwards! We removed all dust from the dial and carried out thorough sealing checks. We also performed an ultrasonic clean and steam clean and installed a new Swiss Renata battery replacing an incorrect battery.

I discovered Alex by chance after I broke the main spring in my Omega Speedmaster, his site was professional looking so I decided to contact him. I contacted him via the site and he responded within hours. His communication was excellent and soon enough I was booked in to drop off the watch.

My 14-year-old Speedmaster now looks like it’s come out of a high street shop window, this is a watch that’s been worn daily in all that time in a hostile environment. Back to virtually brand new condition. Unbelievable!
